SMS Consent.

How appointment reminders work.

This page describes the SMS opt-in collected by Schaltworks LLC from prospective business clients (US contractors and home service business owners) who book a strategy call at schaltworks.com/book. Read this together with our Privacy Policy and Terms.

Who SMS Opt-In Applies To

SMS opt-in is collected exclusively from prospective business clients booking a consultation call with Schaltworks. SMS opt-in is not collected from consumers, homeowners, or any third-party data source.

Where And How You Opt In

Opt-in happens on a single web page: schaltworks.com/book. The flow is:

  1. You visit the booking page.
  2. You select a date and time on the embedded calendar.
  3. A contact form appears with name, email, and phone fields.
  4. An unchecked SMS consent checkbox appears below the contact fields. Checking it is optional. You can book without checking it.
  5. If you check the box and submit, you receive a confirmation SMS within one minute, then up to three reminder SMS messages before your call.

Exact Consent Language

The text shown next to the SMS consent checkbox is:

"I agree to receive appointment confirmation and reminder SMS from Schaltworks. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates apply. See Privacy Policy."

What The Consent Checkbox Looks Like

Below is a screenshot of the live booking form at schaltworks.com/book showing the unchecked SMS consent checkbox in context. The checkbox is unchecked by default and users can submit the form without checking it.

How We Handle Your Phone Number

No sharing with third parties. Schaltworks does not sell, share, rent, or disclose phone numbers or SMS opt-in information to any third party for any purpose, including affiliates, marketing partners, contractor-buyers in our other services, or any other entity. This restriction is absolute and specific to SMS consent data.

Phone numbers collected via the booking form are stored in our CRM (GoHighLevel) and transmitted only through our SMS provider (Twilio via LeadConnector) strictly to deliver the transactional reminders described above. SMS opt-in data is never combined with, exported to, or used in any other Schaltworks service.

Separation From Lead Generation Services

Schaltworks operates separate services. The SMS opt-in described here is only for B2B strategy-call appointment reminders. Any other Schaltworks service that involves data collection (such as homeowner lead generation for contractor clients) operates under separate consent mechanisms and does not include or use the SMS opt-in described on this page.
